Sudheesha Perera, current MD student in BCBI, was recently awarded a Framework in Global Health grant for his pilot study of the feasibility, accuracy and acceptability of the use of Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology to collate data in a low income neonatal unit.

His study is being conducted on-site at Mbuya Nehanda Neonatal Unit, Mbuya Nehanda Maternity Hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe.
